Attachments

Attachments are various things that you can attach to both ranged and melee weapons to improve them or give them additional functions. By leveling up, your character gains access to different tiers of attachments for purchase in the Shop tab. Each weapon can have 3 attachments at a time, but can only have 1 active attachment (Ex: Shield Generator, RPC-10). Additionally, weapon weight and size do NOT limit which attachments a weapon can have. So yes, your pistol can have an RPG launcher attached to it.

One limitation you have on attachments is the specific parts of a weapon that you have attachments on. For example, you cannot have 2 attachments underneath the barrel of a gun. The parts of weapons that you attach attachments to are:

Guns: Body, underbarrel, sights, and muzzle.

Melee: Hilt/handle, blade/barrel/head, tip, and back/shoulder.

Another limitation you have on attachments is how many attachment points (AP) each attachment takes. All weapons have a maximum capacity of 3 AP, and each attachment requires 1-3 AP depending on how much energy they take, how heavy they are, or how powerful they are. Some perks allow attachments to take up 0 AP, however.

Finally, each class has a set of attachments they can and cannot use; 3 from attachment tiers 1 and 2, and 2 from tier 3.

Ranged AttachmentsEdit

Tier 1Edit

Unlocked at class level 1.

  • Silencer: Makes shooting much more quiet and causes bullets to be invisible.
  • Scope: Gives any gun that doesn't already have a scope the ability to zoom in a short range off-screen.
  • Chernobullets: Covers your first magazine's bullets in a nuclear acid, causing them to weaken an enemy's defense for the next 20 seconds after hitting them.
  • SB3: Causes your weapon to fire bullets that produce small concussive blasts upon impact, knocking enemies back when they get hit.

Tier 2Edit

Unlocked at class level 10.

  • Flechette Gun: An attachment that shoots sharp flechettes, which pierce through multiple enemies.
  • SGL-7: Launches stun grenades that instantly chunk off 75% of an enemy's maximum stamina and slow them down for 3 seconds.
  • Shield Generator: When activated, a temporary force field is deployed in front of your character, defending your entire front side. Needs to recharge.
  • F6: Creates a massive gust of wind that violently blows away nearby enemies that are in front of you.
  • FGL-3: Launches flash grenades that blind and deafen enemies caught in the blast radius for 3 seconds.

Tier 3Edit

Unlocked at class level 20.

  • Bullet Generator: Your gun has a small electric furnace attached to it, which internally makes a steady supply of ammunition for the gun.
  • Mini-RPG: Launches a rocket that explodes on contact with enemies, has a larger explosion radius than the RPC.
  • RPC-10: Launches a rocket propelled chainsaw which cuts through multiple enemies before exploding.
  • Double Barreled: Makes the gun have twice the amount of barrels as usual, which causes the gun to shoot 2 bullets at a time (or 4 when equipped to the Lupara).

Melee AttachmentsEdit

Tier 1Edit

Unlocked at class level 1.

  • Sharpened/Hardened: Increases critical rate by 10%.
  • Extension: Increases weapon's range by a rank.
  • Poison Tip: Infects enemies, slowing their movement speed by a rank and reducing their maximum SP by 50 for the rest of their life.
  • Electrified: When activated, causes your next attack to stun.

Tier 2Edit

Unlocked at class level 10.

  • Forearm Mod: Attaches the weapon to your forearm, giving your character more control of the weapon and thus increasing swing speed.
  • Acid Tip: Your weapon is covered in acid, which severely weakens an enemy's defense for the rest of their life.
  • Hallowed: Decreases the weapon's weight, thus increasing your maximum SP by 50 while the weapon is out.
  • CFC Mod: When activated, your next attack knocks enemies extremely far back.
  • Electromagnet: When activated, all nearby enemies are quickly yanked toward you.

Tier 3Edit

Unlocked at class level 20.

  • WASP: When activated, causes your next attack to be explosive, damaging all enemies caught in it.
  • Chainsaw Mod: When activated, your weapon turns into a chainsaw, causing your next attack to hit 3 times at once.
  • Shotgun Mod: When activated, your next 2 attacks will shoot shotgun shells.
  • Unbreakable: Allows your weapon to block bullets when swung.
